Women's Senior Head Coach - Ms. Jenifer Marrosu

Coach Jenifer Marrosu joins us with over 12 years of coaching experience in the United States at a variety of levels. She served as head coach at Gill St. Bernards for 4 years and was an elite coach for T3 Lacrosse in Basking Ridge, NJ, an elite level high school program focusing on player development and NCAA college recruitment.

Jenifer began her coaching career by assisting her alma mater, King’s College, where she played four years of collegiate lacrosse and served two of those years as captain. After returning to her home state of New Jersey, she became the head coach at Immaculata High School in Somerville, NJ, where she led the girl’s varsity program from a 1-16 record to a winning record in just three years. She became the head coach at Gill St. Bernard’s where she worked for four years and helped to develop their lacrosse program by bringing it from club to a Varsity level.

Through her tenure with T3 Lacrosse over the past ten years, Jen has helped to grow the company that became one of the largest female lacrosse companies in the country. At T3, Jen gained a tremendous amount of experience with developing teams as a head coach, while helping to build a successful company with focus on player development and recruitment, while being a consistent support to the players’ needs. She has coached and facilitated various programs and teams at T3 ranging in age from youth to adult levels, as well as coaching the elite teams with their focus on pursuing lacrosse at the collegiate level.

Jen credits her experience coaching, along with her work ethic and dedication, to helping to shape her into the educator she is today. She looks forward to sharing her passion and knowledge for lacrosse with the players of the Women’s Lacrosse Team.

Women's U19 Head Coach - Ms. Jane Karger

Coach Jane Karger comes to the HKLA with ten years of NCAA experience in the United States. She has knowledge in skill development, motivation and game strategies in a variety of levels ranging from top Division I to youth and development programs in the US.

Coach Karger has been involved with Hong Kong Lacrosse for the last three years including her time as an assistant coach the Senior Hong Kong Representative team at the FIL 2017 World Cup in Surrey, England.

Jane’s years of college coaching experience in the United States include different programs on varying levels ranging from NCAA Division I to Division III. She currently works as a Head Women’s Lacrosse coach at Drew University in Madison, NJ, USA. She is entering into her fourth year coaching the Rangers.

In her time at Drew University, she has coached Landmark All-Conference and IWLCA Regional All-American players. She has also coached at Princeton University, University of Connecticut, Central Connecticut University, Connecticut College, and Mount St. Mary’s University all in the NCAA. She has also coached the 2012 NEC Goalkeeper of the Year, all NEC selections, All-Big East selections and All-Region goalkeepers and a DI All-American.

She emphasizes a philosophy of skill development, teaching athletes the fundamentals of the ever-changing game, as well as game management and high level performance expectations. Her multiple levels of sports administration experience lend well to developing all levels of athletes and coaches.
