Women's Head Coach - Ms. Gemini Fan

Ex-Hong Kong Team Captain Gemini Fan joined the Hong Kong, China Lacrosse Association full time in 2014 but has been involved with the Association since 2002 and played an integral part of the development of women’s lacrosse in Hong Kong.

She began her coaching career with Hong Kong whilst still at university and took a team to participate in the Prague Cup in 2006. In 2009 she took the team to their first Asia Pacific Lacrosse Tournament whilst acting as the player/coach for the tournament. In 2013, she was appointed as the assistant coach of the Hong Kong Team that attended their first World Championship event and served on the coaching staff of the Hong Kong team from 2013-2016.

In 2016, she came out of retirement and was selected as co-captain for the Hong Kong Team that came 18th in the 2017 World Lacrosse Women’s World Championship in England.

Since 2017, she has served as an assistant coach on the Hong Kong Team and in 2020, was also appointed as the Head Coach of the High Performance Program which serves as a feeder program to the Hong Kong Team. She was the goalie and defensive coach for the Hong Kong team in their best ever finish of 16th in the 2022 World Championship in the USA.

In August 2022, she was appointed as the Hong Kong Lacrosse Women’s Representative Team Head Coach and oversees all the Women’s Elite and High Performance Programs.
