Hong Kong, China Men’s U20 Representative Team Player Identification

The Hong Kong Men’s Under 20 (U20) Representative Team will be participating in the 2025 World Lacrosse Men’s U20 World Championship. The tournament location and dates are yet to be announced by World Lacrosse, however they will take place during the Summer of 2025.
In order for players to prepare, there will be ongoing training throughout the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 seasons designed for participants to receive top level instruction and support, preparing them for the 2025 World Lacrosse Men’s U20 World Championship.
Registering to be a part of the Player Identification pool will allow us to keep in contact and provide information about training, tryouts and the tournament, as it becomes available.

Player Requirements
- Players must be born on or between 1 September 2004 and 31 August 2009*
- Players must meet at least one of the following requirements:
- Holder of a permanent HKSAR ID card or HKSAR passport, or;
- Have one or both parents, adoptive parents or step-parents born in Hong Kong or; - Have one or more birth or adoptive grandparents born in Hong Kong or;
- Minimum of a two-year residency period in Hong Kong within the last five (5) years,
- Players must be members of HKLA and are prepared to dedicate time and effort to the team.

* The official birth dates for eligibility will be confirmed by World Lacrosse upon the official U20 World Championship announcement.

The criteria to represent Hong Kong, China is subject to change pending World Lacrosse voting results scheduled for the end of 2023
