DESCRIPTION
Programme Summary
The Hong Kong High-Performance Programme (HPP) is designed for lacrosse players in Hong Kong who hope to compete at the highest level. This programme provides year-round, top-level instruction and support, focusing on skill development and understanding of the game(Lax IQ). Athletes will be given the tools and guidance to eventually represent Hong Kong on the international stage. In addition to developing their understanding of the game, participants will also be provided with strength and conditioning guidance throughout the program.
HPP(Men’s) will be divided into two tiers in the coming season, so that players will experience the instruction and level of play that is most appropriate for their skill level.
Target
- Male lacrosse players aged 16 and above with a commitment to developing themselves in the sport
- Athletes with aspirations to compete internationally including the World Championships tournament
-Athletes need to meet or have the intention/capability to meet FIL player eligibility criteria.
Practice Time & Location:
Kwong Fuk Park Football Pitch (Kwong Chun Street, Tai Po, N.T.): Alternate Thursday nights 20:00 - 21:30 (Sep – Dec)
Boundary Street Recreation Ground (200 Sai Yee Street, Mong Kok, Kowloon): Alternate Thursday Nights 20:00-21:30(Jan – May, except March)
Po Kong Village Road Park(140 Po Kong Village Rd, Diamond Hill): Alternate Wednesday Nights 20:30-22:00(March)
King George V School: Every Sunday Nights 20:00 -22:00(Sep – May):
