2018 Men’s Representative Team - Manager Recruitment
Team Manager Opportunity
The Hong Kong Men’s Representative team is recruiting a Team Manager(s) to support the Team during the planning, preparations and participation at the 2018 World Championships July 7 - 21 in Israel. Also potential travel to lead up events in Melbourne (early Jan 2018) and Berlin (mid June).This is a volunteer position.
Purpose of position:
Reporting to and supporting the Head Coach, and works collaboratively with HKLA staff, other volunteers and players to provide administration and logistical support for the Team.
Duties include;
Organize aspects of program training sessions, tournaments and tours, includes, travel, accommodation, field rentals, equipment, nutrition.
Support maintenance of team records as required.
Filming and sharing of selected program games and activities as determined by HC.
Organize & communicate sessions/activities with Team Personnel and Team members where appropriate;
Requirements:
Experience and demonstrated success managing a team or sports program, including teams travelling to events is preferred.
good people and relationship management skills;
Strong planning, time management ability with an attention to detail
Knowledge and previous involvement with lacrosse is ideal.
Schedule flexibility and ability to travel
Compensation:
This is a volunteer position. Any travel and accommodation expenses will be covered. Most meals will be provided (or an allowance) when traveling outside of Hong Kong.
