Hong Kong Lacrosse Under-20 Program (Male) 2022/23 Tryout & Program Info


Tryout Announcement

The Hong Kong Lacrosse U20 Training Squad is directed towards athletes with the potential to represent Hong Kong at the U20 World Championship in 2025. The ongoing programme is designed for participants to receive top level instruction and support, preparing them for the 2025 World Lacrosse Men’s U20 World Championship.

Player Requirements:

  • Players must be born between 1 Sept 2003 and 31 Aug 2009 (Overage players may be considered into the squad under special circumstances but may not be eligible to play in the World Championship)
  • Players must meet at least one of the following requirements:
  1. Holder of a permanent HKSAR ID card or HKSAR passport, or; Have one or both parents, adoptive parents or step-parents born in Hong Kong or;
  2. Have one or more birth or adoptive grandparents born in Hong Kong or;
  3. Minimum of a two-year residency period in Hong Kong within the last five (5) years or;
  4. Attending school in Hong Kong and continuing to be schooled in Hong Kong for the next 2 years.
  • Players must be members of HKLA and are prepared to dedicate time and effort to the team.
  • Players will be required to participate in AT LEAST 1 “community involvement” activities helping to support and develop lacrosse within our community.
  • All players must have fully completed their COVID-19 vaccination as per government vaccine pass requirements to try-out.

Notes:
1) Players are required to attend all sessions.
2) Players must bring their own reversible pinnies and wear the same one for all try-out ates.
