DESCRIPTION
The Programs
The Hong Kong Lacrosse High Performance Programme Squad is directed towards athletes with aspirations of representing Hong Kong at the international level. The ongoing program is designed for participants to receive top level instruction and support, preparing them for the next step in their development and achievements.
The programme will include:
- Minimum of 2 field sessions per week (Tues, Sat)
- Minimum 1 supervised S&C session per week (Thurs)
- Alternate Field/ S&C sessions on Sunday
Program Requirements
All players must be HKLA members and be a minimum of 15 years old with a high degree of dedication including the ability to attend 2/3 sessions weekly. Players should have a basic level of playing experience. Additionally, players will be required to participate in “community involvement” activities helping to support and develop lacrosse within our community.
All players must be fully vaccinated to be part of this programme.
Try-out Period:
- 22-Sep 2021 (PH): 9:00-11:00 am @ Jockey Club HKFA Football Training Centre
(190 Wan Po Road, Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong)
- 25-Sep 2021 (Sat) : 9-10:30 am or 1-2:30 pm or 3-4:30 pm @ Club de Recreio
(20 Gascoigne Road, Jordan)
- 26-Sep 2021 (Sun) : 3-6 pm @Tsang Tai Uk Recreation Ground
Sha Kok Street, Sha Tin
Program Schedule: 30 September 2021 - May 2022 (Tentatively)
Tuesday: Kwun Tong Recreation Ground 8-9:30 pm
Thursday: North Point (S&C) Evening
Saturday: CDR or other venues 9-10:30 am
Sunday: Alternate weekly North Point (S&C) or CDR (Field) 9-10:30 am (S&C) or 3-5 pm (Field)

Costs
- Try-out Fee HKD $250 (Non-refundable)
- Once selected, the program fee will be $2000 plus an elite athlete’s fee of $2000 for the season collected by 2 instalments. (Non-refundable)
- Tournament and trip fees will be communicated to players prior to the selection of the travelling squad.
