Coach – Hong Kong Lacrosse Association (Women’s Team)
The Hong Kong Lacrosse Association is the governing body of lacrosse
in Hong Kong. Founded in 1993, HKLA is a member of the Federation of
International Lacrosse (FIL), Asia Pacific Lacrosse Union (APLU), as
well as Sports Federation & Olympic Committee Hong Kong, China
The Hong Kong Lacrosse Association has developed a Women’s High
Performance Program to aid in the development of elite lacrosse players
throughout the year. The program draws coaches from North America,
Europe and Australia to help design and implement elite level training
which includes a comprehensive strength and conditioning program.
Currently, we are creating a high-performance league to run throughout
the year and are developing our junior representative team to compete
in our first U19 World Cup being held in Peterborough, Canada, August
1-10, 2019. As part of our development strategy, we will be hiring
additional lacrosse coaches for the 2018-19 season.
The successful candidate will primarily assist the Head Coach in
developing a high performance training environment for the women’s
representative teams including playing, coaching, and preparing teams
for major international competition. Successful candidates will also
deliver lacrosse coaching over a variety of ages and playing levels
including youth programs, primary and secondary schools, and regional
Successful applicants will work on average 40 hours per week however
workload may vary while attending tournaments or other lacrosse
related events. Working hours will predominantly be evenings and
weekends and the duration of employment will be for a period of one
a year with optional extensions upon review.

Remuneration & Benefits:
• $16,000 HKD per month

• Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Undergraduate degree
• Experience playing or coaching at high level (NCAA, International)
• Bilingual Chinese/English ability
